Cosmetic & Restorative Dentist, M.Sc, Ph.D Prof. Dr. Mohamed M. AbdelMohsen

Dr. Mohamed M. AbdelMohsen received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery with First Class Honor from Cairo University in 1976 and completed his Masters degree (M.Sc) in 1982 and his Doctor degree (PhD) in Restorative Dentistry in 1987. He is now a retired tenure Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University.

Dr. AbdelMohsen was a Visiting Professor at Tufts University, Faculty of Dental Medicine 1990-1991 Boston, USA. He was also the Ex-Chairman of Restorative Dentistry Department Faculty of Dentistry, Minia University 1998-2001 and the Ex-Vice Dean of Post Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Dentistry, Minia University 1998-2001.

Dr.AbdelMohsen later became the Ex-Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, MIU from 2001 to 2008, and then the Ex-Head of Department of Operative Dentistry, Cairo University from 2012 to 2013. From 2009 to 2018 Dr.
AbdelMohsen was a Consultant for Postgraduate and Research at Misr International University (MIU) and lectured restorative dentistry for the senior class undergraduate program.

Currently, he is teaching under and post graduate programs at several universities in Egypt; Cu, MIU,MSA, MUST, SCU, MU and NGU, and he lectured and conducted continuing education programs at CU.

He had supervised 85 PhD and MSc theses and published 78 articles nationally and internationally on a wide range of topics with special emphasis on subjects related to tooth tissues and bonding, cariology and esthetic and cosmetic dentistry.

He maintains a private practice centered on comprehensive restorative aesthetic and implant dentistry in Cairo, Egypt since 1977.

He also was member of the ESCU for Dental Affairs for 3 successive cycles 2008- 2017 and now a member of the ESCU promoting committee for staff members of Restorative and Endodontics 2009-2019.
